Works like a charm!
Actually works well
For the money it those what is suppose to but you need to make sure you adjust it just right if not it will change the angle spending how much you let out of the vise
Hand sharpening blades is a talent. A talent I don't really have.Oh sure, I can get a blade very sharp by hand, just not scary sharp. And who wants an inferior edge?Take the guesswork and talent out of the equation and use a honing guide like this instead. They work remarkably well by keeping the blade at the exact same angle throughout the sharpening process. This is a good one. I like the wide ball bearings to keep it stable.I use a system where I use spray adhesive to stick wet/dry sandpaper to glass plates. I feel that it has a lower barrier of entry in terms of price, and I find that it's easier to replace a piece of worn sandpaper than to spend time re-flattening a stone.
